Issue 5              CEDA NEWSLETTER               May 2021
Building Narratives Through Data
Dear Friends,

We share our April newsletter in the midst of unprecedented tragedy and grief in India, which has left us shattered. Last year after the sudden lockdown, CEDA had produced a policy brief with concrete recommendations to cushion the harsh impact of multiple waves of virus and lockdown. Sadly, all those proposals remain as urgently valid today, even more so, given the ravages of the pandemic. Also relevant in this context is Sonal Agarwal and Ankur Bharadwaj's evaluation of India's fledgling Covid vaccination program, its challenges and bottlenecks.

At CEDA, we have been trying to keep our heads above water. Here's a glimpse into our work in April, including the introduction of a brand new series called "Picture This".

Stay safe!
